Kids Jiu-Jitsu
You are never too young to learn values like respect, discipline, confidence, and hard work. And one of the best vehicles for teaching these values to children is martial arts training at a reputable academy with qualified instructors.
Children today are under an enormous amount of social pressure. Like everyone else, bullies have quickly adapted to the ease-of-use and relative simplicity of the Internet. Don't let your child succumb to the Internet's collective view of how to determine her self-worth, self-image, and sense of morality. And if your child's bully happens to be old school and prefers to throw hands, give your child the tools to protect herself. Our Kids Jiu-Jitsu program is led by Coach Kirby Farrales, a lifelong martial artist with over 36 years of experience, and over 27 years of teaching experience. Learn more about Coach Kirby here.
Because children receive information differently and have unique needs at various ages, our program is divided into 3 levels to ensure that your child will have the best possible learning experience.
LEVEL 1
(ages 3 - 6)
Our Level 1 classes were designed to help our youngest students learn how to learn. This class meets once a week and does not require a uniform. In order to develop independence, parent-participation is welcome depending on the circumstance, but not encouraged.
LEVEL 2
(ages 7 - 12)
Our Level 2 classes were designed to build a strong foundation in the most basic concepts of Brazilian Jiu-Jistu.
The focus of these classes is largely based on practical self-defense, ranging from verbal to non-verbal strategies, which of course is grounded in the proven methods developed and battle-tested by the legendary Gracie family over the last century on the streets of Brazil.
LEVEL 3
(ages 7 - 12)
Our Level 3 classes were designed with more mature students in mind, so we are able to go beyond the fundamentals and venture into the ever-expanding competitive aspect and the sport of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
